My book centers around my grandfather, affectionately known as “Grand-billy”.

Throughout my life, my grandfather struggled with alcoholism. This disease masked my grandfather’s true personality and left me feeling like I was never able to know him or the place he loved how he would have wanted.

7 years after his passing, I returned to his home. Although his body was not present, the process of documenting these sentimental places gave me the opportunity to truly meet my grandfather for the first time.
